Straightforward as it may look, placing an implant is a complex, invasive piece of surgery. It is in your interest to understand fully what it involves, to know the cost and to talk it through with the dentist before you decide. Our dentists will advise you and are glad to answer any question you have.
We make prosthetic work in zirconia, a material used for all-ceramic restoration of teeth, crowns and bridges. We build crowns and bridges in layers so that they match the shape and shade of your other teeth.
We make dentures both for patients who have lost all their teeth and for those missing only some. At the consultation we choose the type of denture to suit your mouth, and match the colour, shape and position of the teeth to your face.
A crown covers the whole tooth and takes over its work when too little of your own tooth is left to hold a filling. A bridge replaces a missing tooth and rests on the teeth beside it. We make both from zirconia, a full-ceramic material, working with what we consider the finest dental laboratories in Poland.
The scanner is here on site, at Różana 2 in Wyry. We do not send patients to another town for it. The scan itself takes seconds, and we look at the images with you during the same visit.
Panoramic and periapical radiographs are taken digitally only. That shortens the examination and the time needed to read the image, and lowers the radiation dose. We take our radiographs with a digital X-ray unit.
Routine restorative dentistry covers the everyday work: prevention, removing damaged tissue and then rebuilding the part of a single tooth that decay has destroyed. Our dentists do this with a composite filling, a synthetic material matched to the shade of your enamel.
Root canal treatment, also known as endodontics, treats infection in the centre of the tooth. The infection can start with bacteria, with a leaking filling, or with damage to the tooth after an injury such as a fall. Ignored, the problem can reach the point where the tooth has to be taken out.
Periodontics treats disease in the tissues around the teeth. Looking after your teeth should also mean checking the whole mouth regularly, because gum disease is one of the main causes of tooth loss in adults. The risk can be reduced, and disease found early is treated more quickly and more effectively. Consistent periodontal care, including examination and radiographs when they are needed, is central to oral health.
Oral surgery is usually associated with taking teeth out, wisdom teeth above all, but our dentists offer a good deal more than that. It lets them look after the health of the mouth and take on more demanding procedures, such as removing an impacted wisdom tooth, whose position they check beforehand on a CBCT scan.
Cosmetic dentistry sets out to improve the way the teeth and the smile look. We whiten teeth, fit veneers and correct shape and colour, choosing the method to suit the state of your teeth and what you are hoping for.
Regular check-ups with a dentist are an important part of looking after your teeth. A dentist can see small cavities that do not hurt yet, and will pick up the first signs of disease. Coming in for check-ups means that any problems are noticed early. A check-up is also a good moment to make sure you are caring for your teeth the right way.
Young patients are a big responsibility. We know that whether children come to think of the surgery as a good place depends on our dentists. We do our best to make it so, but we need your help. As a parent you play an active part in your child's oral health, and you are the example for eating well and cleaning teeth properly.
